"Sorry" doesn't seem to be enough.

Bury bad news in bad news – isn’t that some sort of political tactic?  In amongst all the bad news about a world pandemic it seems that the headlines BELOW the headlines are reflecting no let-up in the stupidity, destruction and rampant greed of humanity.

This from what is possibly one of the world’s most destructive mining companies: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-52869502

Loss of heritage that can never be restored.  How can it be allowed to happen in this modern age of risk assessment, drone mapping .....etc and so on?

“Sorry” simply doesn’t cut it.

And in order  to be balanced about it here is the mining company statement:

Their sustainability strapline is "we work hard to leave a lasting, positive legacy everywhere we work".

We work hard to leave a lasting, positive legacy everywhere we work

We work hard to leave a lasting, positive legacy everywhere we work

We work hard to leave a lasting, positive legacy everywhere we work
