Jellyfish

What do you do at the beach? F takes the thing she uses to sift my litter tray and catches rubbish floating around in the sea. It's an interesting dance, with a bag of the sifted  rubbish held above her head in one hand, and the other hand swishing around in the, chest-deep on her, surging water.

There are lots of leaves in that collection, but that only disguises the fact that most of it is clear plastic that you can't really see lurking about in the water.  She says its freaky to swim through it and makes her worry about jelly-fish.

I've no idea what jelly-fish are but sometimes i get served fish flavoured food in jelly so it might be that..

Hmmm. Yes, I think I would be a tad concerned, too. That stuff looks like jelly fish even as it is! F is very good to take the time to do this though. If everyone did, there would be a huge improvement. Better yet, if everyone just stopped using plastic....... hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  2. F is a brave woman to get into that dirty sea. Just the idea of jellyfish would keep me put!

  3. No one has seen any jellyfish (except the ones in my bowl). Apparently swimming into a random plastic bag from time to time gives F the heeby-jeebies, so mostly she sits on top of her paddleboard and scoops them out from there, but the stuff in the corner was mostly cellophane and all rafted together to easy to catch she said.
