Shortest Retirement

It lasted one single day.  F went to work without me yesterday.  Today I was back on the road to work.  F's colleagues who were due back this week have decided to work from home.

On the way home from work we called at Cosmozoo and encountered aunty Sara with the bright pink hair (and the monster dog).  She told us the the Greek government has made a new rule that people who are able to work from home cannot be required (forced) to work in the office if they don't want to do it.

I wonder if that also applies to superstar cats....

If it doesn't,  it might mean I'm the office cat a whole lot longer than I expected to be.

Homeward bound, we came over the top of our personal Everest to be greeted by a blast of hot wind. At the bottom of the street the Saronic Gulf was whipped into a bit of a frenzy of white capped waves.  The wind filled my ears and my eyes with dust and grit the rest of the way home.

On our balcony our basil plant was upside down and the crushed walnut shells F had put in the top of the pot were all over the balcony.  Down below someone is going to come home and be disappointed...

oopsss... we've had big winds today too - but warm they are not. I have resorted to putting on the central heating this evening!!! Anyway, at least you are getting out and about a bit more again, Mr T. That's gotta be good, right? Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  2. We always look at Athens weather to see what we will get for the day but fortunately seem to miss your hailstorms , flooding and high winds.
    Enjoy your workdays again

  3. For a change we have had a lovely day today not wind, sunshine and a slight heat to the air
We don’t want to jinx it. But I think spring might finally be in the air
