We have completed 12 portraits now. We have added 'Tigger in Clover', 'Tigger in a Purple Haze', Cross-eyed Tigger, and 'Sunburned Tigger', but F's favourite has been entitled 'Tigger in Tartan Pyjamas'.
They all still need their whiskers. Whiskers are important; and there are some cruciform flowers to make to complete this composition, but F has already started planning out some seafood based designs using the same cut-it-up and stitch it back together technique. I think she has an eye on using up some more of those smallish pieces of patchworking fabric she has stored in a box in her office.....

ReplyDeleteWell, I am biased it has to be said, but the tartan definitely looks good on 'you' Mr T!!! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
'Tigger in Tartan' just has a good sound about it too. Furrings and purrings to you YAM-aunty. Mr T
ReplyDeleteThose designs are so cute, and I adore Mr T in his tartan pyjamas :)
ReplyDeleteWell look at you Mr Fancy Pants....I love the look of all your appliqué friends. F did a great job didn’t she - except none of them have white chins. Is this going to be a new comfy cover for your bed?
ReplyDeleteIt was meant to be a birthday present for Mr B some years ago and has languished in 'stash'. She got it out at Christmas when we couldn't go shopping for presents, so I guess Mr B will get it. I will sit on it however irrespective of who it nominally belongs to - as EVERYTHING is mine. xxx Mr T
DeleteThey are great.
ReplyDeleteCant wait for the finished project
