each one is different and I can't pick a favorite. I can SEE the chicken it it. ha ha... i like the shape of the apple one. pretty amazing to me who can't do a thing that requires stiches of any kind. My mother could and she would be making these right now if she were not in heaven... good way for extra storage. JUST had a thought. these would be beautiful with Christmas balls in them for decorations...
Hari Om Oh, beg to differ, art they are. If this is, or this is, then again either this one or <a href="https://royalscottishacademy.viewingrooms.com/content/feature/51/artworks-6379-richard-goldsworthy-arc-2020/><b>this</b></a> - well, F's "Strung Fruits" hold their own!!! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
Ooooh I love the purple & blue one. Even the piece of wood has its merits. Not so keen on the wine rack. I used to have this conversation with the artists at a studio i was a trustee of - is there a difference between arts and crafts? I subsequently found an answer but it's too long for here and of no interest to Tigger. xxx F
Hari OM ...and oops, I left a quotation mark out of this. Very untidy of me.
Hmmm - art is impression, craft is expression. An artist begins with whatever medium they are using and does not necessarily know what their end product will look like. A crafter has a clear end product in mind and has the skill to produce it as such. And reproduce. Cats are artists, rarely deigning to do the same thing twice or in the same way. Dogs are crafters, willing to perform the same thing over and over and over... this doesn't mean the two cannot cross over...!!! YAM xx
An impressive string bag, whether for oranges or chicken. I've crocheted a few but forget to use them. I always smile when I do, trotting along with my funny bag

ReplyDeleteFunny? - definitely conversation starter. The laiki vendors are amused by my collection of bags.
DeleteWell it depends on a person's definition of art, if it had different colours in it yes I would say it is.
