Street where Scooters go to DIE

Last night's long-way-home took us up a street I have never travelled before - a street where scooters and motorbikes apparently go to die.  There were lots of still alive ones too, but if I were one of those ones I'd be worried about being parked in that street.

Donkey vs quad-bike

And something red....

F says Mr B will be here in 2 weeks.  I'm counting the sleeps.  My van is coming back with him. We are going to start planning some holidays.  F has 7 weeks of holidays to take.  I am going to get to be travel writer Tigger again.  YEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!

    1. It's sad really because it represents at least 5 weeks of cancelled (for lockdowns) holidays over the last 20 months.

  2. YAY for seven weeks together... love that red and there seems to be many places to park the scooters when they die... i bet they make a racket to your ears. I need to get a big donkey to push that Beau will fit in because if i hold onto a basket at the supermarket i can walk without being dizzie

    1. It's the living ones that make the racket. When my ears itch I get wobbly on my feet. Do you have itchy ears? xxx Mr T

  3. I wonder if they are really dead or just peacefully sleeping until their owners need them again
    Travel sounds lovely
It will be nice to come along via blog land
It’s the only traveling I’ll be doing for a while

    1. We think their owners may also have 'passed over'. There are 100s of these around the streets, many in worse states than these ones. Many are seats for cats to nap on.

  5. Now a holiday like that is definitely something to look forward to. Make sure you let F and Mr B know what places you want to go and see!

    1. Gardens. Gardens with grass and no other cats.

  6. Maybe you both could get a scooter with a sidecar so Tigger can sit in that.

  7. Tigger would LOVE it. He's a real 'go faster' freak.
