The modern road to Delfi is attractive whichever way you approach. Lots of this road was flat crossing a plain (farmland wearing winter garb) but the mountain bits were very pretty.
you are the purrrrrfic co pilot, butt I did notice your on the drivers side of our car. HE HE HE.. that is a gorgeous view down that road. I love trees too...
The cars over her have a steering wheel in front of my seat, but my van comes from England. Recent archaeology in a Roman quarry in England determined that Romans drove (and marched their armies) on the same side of the roads as in Britain (left). Napoleon was responsible for the start of change in Europe apparently - he marched his armies on the right to wrong-foot everybody else. He never set foot in Britain. (Or Sweden for that matter, they changed over as recently as the 1970s). We share our preferences with Japan, Malaysia, Aus and NZ, India and countries in South and East Africa. Some of my dearly departed FF (feline friends) preferred front seat views ( or back of the back seat in one case) - put them in a carry box and yes, they boked all the way from here to there.
I did notice you were on ‘the wrong side of the road’ then realised no you weren’t, you were in a non European car on the right hand side of the road😊
No snow on the actual road then Tigger? You got an up-front view of those beautiful white tipped mountains though. We went to Nafplio last week and it was surrounded by those white peaks. Just lovely
We saw lots of the machines they use to clear the snow off the road and it was piled up along the edges in places. I paid particular interest to the white stuff but my humans did not stop so that I could get out and dig about in it.
I told Mittens you were a car co-pilot and she flicked her tail and walked away. I don't know if she was jealous or simply doesn't like cars!
ReplyDeleteTell her that if you have to go in a car co-piloting is better than being sick in a box.
DeleteThat is an extremely important job
ReplyDeleteThe scenery is spectacular
I’m enjoying my virtual holiday with you

ReplyDeleteThe pawfect co-pilot, methinks... does that make F the navigator? Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
F says if the airbag goes off we die. So I hold it closed. She has tried to make me ride in the back but front seat is best in my view. Fz and Pz Mr T
