I know that garden...

...it makes an unexciting postcard to share but F sent me a garden picture. I know that garden. It belongs to the other Mr B. I used to visit there to cheer M who spent the last 4 years of her life in a wheelchair.

I didn't like M squeezing me but I tolerated it and then I could go explore the house or the garden.
I wonder whether F could postcard me some familiar scents from the garden...fresh green grass, cypress hedge, things that live in the ivy covering the side fence......

Oh for smellyvision, eh Tigger? Postcards of the familiar are every bit as welcome, I am sure... Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

    1. Mr. T, tell F we want to hear her voice. I would love to hear yours. I am working on grabbing Beau while he talks in woos, so far he stops as soon as I try to grab it. I do understand the shock. I worked phones in HR and had a few clients that I spoke with daily, it was rare to meet them face to face and when I did it was almost always a shock

    2. PS.. the sound of my voice would change drastically if I moved back to my hometown. Just talking to relatives on the phone, I go back in time and start to sing my words. people in Georgia and Kentucky sing their words, I am a product of both states. when I first moved here, at work I was teased a lot about singing and the I sound and without even knowing I did it I slowly lost it. An hour on the phone with my sister in law and I sing again

  4. Now that’s a nice looking compact secluded garden….with lots of hidey holes under those hedges for a tiger like cat to lie and survey the scene. If F visited this time maybe (if you ask her nicely) you’ll be able to visit again some other time
