Last One for the Month

F says she doesn't believe I have blogged every day of any month since we started this project.  It must be some kind of record and one that we won't be in a hurry to repeat.  It has been kinda hard work.  Postcards helped, but we are back to 'a day in the life .....'

We are looking out for interesting boats, watching for whacky cars or unusual dog/human duos walking by, observing the plants flowering on the balcony, stirring the compost, shopping for veg in the weekends, supervising F sewing stuff, waiting for Mr B to come back (he whispered to me that he would come back in a sailing boat next time).

Since she got back I have pestered F to let me sleep in the top cupboard.  It isn't my favourite place in the whole world but it is a good change once in a while.  F says it is tax return time and she wishes she could hide in the top cupboard.

What are tax returns?

She also said I have to start going to work with her again.  That'll give me some blog material for sure.  Work is boring but the trips back and forth can be entertaining.

Here are some random photos from our March album to end the month.

Well... are congrats to be offered here? I think it has been wonderfurs seeing all these posts from you Tigger, dear, and I do hope that it will not be too long before the next post. I am certain you will find a little something each day to entertain us with! Meanwhile, enjoy that change of view from the top. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

    1. I am at work today (Mondays and Fridays when Mr B is not around are work days. F has the office to herself so I go along). There is a top cupboard at work but it doesn't look in the least bit interesting. We don't miss many days most months, but I doubt we have in fact achieved a whole 31 before. We have never really given it that much thought. We started out years ago with about 2 a week. There were some years when we did nothing at all! Feedback in the form of comments helps to keep it rolling. Fz & Pz Mr T

  3. love the flowers and veggies and the barge is pretty cool too. you are a luck feline to get to go to work with F, dogs have to stay home alone... beau is lucky because his pawrents don't work now.. he gets left home alone for doctor visits only... I am sure in the walks for food and work there will be things you see to make remarks about

    1. I, the Tigger, rather liked the 'working from home' thing when it was happening. F did not. How could she not like having my company sleeping on her desk and supervising all day? She said it wasn't me but she didn't like clients thinking that because she was working from home there was no boundary between work and home life; that they could ring at 10 o'clock at night if they wanted to discuss something that could in reality have waited for the next working day.

  4. Such pretty flowers. And veggies!
Gosh, you can imagine how happy I was to learn that I was going to live with a human who is 'retired'. Of course, I am well capable of keeping her busy...

    1. It is definitely artichoke season. They are sold with the stems on - can humans eat the stalks?

  6. Pretty flowers and omg how many artichokes did that stall have
I used to try and post everyday but that gave me anxiety so now I only post when I have something to post about.

    1. I, the Tigger, have time to think about these things. My secretary is not always available to take dictation and do the spell checking, so I have to defer. When I have only her at home I do get a bit more of her time than when Mr B is there.

  7. I have that top plant funnily enough, I think it's a type of Echevaria? I could be wrong...

    1. You probably know more about the plant than we do - F bought a tiny one in a pot the size of an egg-cup and it just went from there. We are not sure whether yellow means sick, but it looks pretty so we haven't tried to doctor it with anything.

  8. Good luck to F with doing the tax return - hopefully it will mean a refund :)

    1. We live in Greece where they tax ALL your income at Greek rates regardless of where in the world you earn it. You are permitted to claim a credit for tax paid in other countries, but Greek tax is higher so you always have to pay the top up amount here. It never means a refund.
