Ancona is in Italy. Neither I nor my humans speak Italian.
Ancona has a 13 spout water trough thing. This church appears to have been rebuilt out of the bits of an older one - possibly a predecessor. You can possibly guess what happened to the older one.
Not sure what this is. F liked the door.
Narrow streets, cobbles, steps and stairs...
Interesting towers (F mentioned she had climbed up a church spire like this one in Copenhagen.
Views through archways.
Looks like your humans are managing to see some really interesting architecture on their holiday. I love that tall archway.
ReplyDeleteI hope Aunty P will relent, Tigger, and not shut you out of the bedroom :)

Coffee is always very important
ReplyDeleteThe pictures look amazing
Loving another virtual tour with you
sounds like you are handling your sitter very well and finding ways to get your way.. coffee is very important to me. love the tiles or paintings can't tell which. the door is amazing as is the narrow street framed through the arch. Italy is beautiful, we saw some of it on a tv special. now i wonder if the signs are in Italian, if there are signs and also if they use the symbols for people who can't read.. about the recyle, i rant about it all the time. sometimes i stand in the giant store i shop in and think, there are FIVE of these stores in out town, all withing 5 miles of each other and everything in the store but produce is in package of some kind. they empty the shelves daily and restock. it is mind blowing the trash that creates
ReplyDeletePainting. We get a bit overwhelmed thinking about that much trash.
