We've got one of all of those. Or I think we do . Haven't seen the witches broom for a while. Can't remember the proper name for it. Is it besom? I should google. My m in law had one without the handle. Bent over like the witch she was, god bless her soul, she swept the yard till that broom had nothing left but a few sticks. Excellent for yard work.
Following this post I thought about how many different brushed we have: hair, clothes , floor (indoor, outdoor, small, large), car washing, painting, bottle washing, shoes, teeth, grout (!), radiator, blinds... Sort of amazing really, and I suspect there would be many more if I thought harder... there is even a little brush that comes with my hair clippers!
...all of those too and special rotating ones for cleaning bike chains. Perhaps no hair clippers brush but there is one for cleaning out the sewing machine gubbins. The thing is though, that you can't commute on a toothbrush.
I am happy to see there are many choices to ride upon just in case one disapears! the straw broom is like mine in the kitchen, it is my favorite and I rather sweep with it than the others. we have one of each of these except the first one. maybe I need one of those.. Tigger you always leave the best to last and we wait for it.... Beau has an inside brush and outside brush. much like yours
That first one is known around here as the 'dreadlock mop'. It has microfibre on the swooshing end that looks like a head of short dreads. It is very good for picking up shed fur apparently.
Hari OM ...MOL... commuting.... oh you are a wag, Tigger. I do like your 'me driver' look. Not to be ignored! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx A2Z Reflection
You do have a nice selection A broom for every purpose Apparently if a broom falls on its own it means company is coming Could be the universe telling us to tidy up
Our indoors ones do that a lot, and they may have a point. F looked around yesterday and cofirmed what I've known for ages - she has spread out a bit. She needs to do a Spring clean.
I've used one similar to the one in the first photo, of course the others I recognise too, Tigger looks unimpressed though. He could be thinking of food.
All good for chewing.
ReplyDeleteToodle-oo!
Nobby.
That's weird Nobby. Try sharpening your claws on them. They are good for that. paw smacks Mr T

ReplyDeleteBesom sounds about right. We have seen those ones with no handle - why would anyone ......? Besides you can't fly them without a handle.

DeleteYou could if you were small enough. I bet a tiny field mouse could get around on a toothbrush. Especially the electric kind. Very cutting edge.
ReplyDeleteNow there is a good idea for a bit of fantasy fiction. Thank you Boud and watch this space.

ReplyDeleteSkims the rooftops JayCee. We won't be playing quidditch any time soon.

ReplyDeleteF is this cat's witch.
