Nature Friday

We figured it was weird enough (if you don't live surrounded by bananas) to post on its own.

  5. Looks like an over enthusiastic Carmen Miranda fan with very short legs! It’s the smooth sleek end product I enjoy.

  6. You are living in the same enviroment as Florida. these are common here and I have taken many photos similar to this in our back yard, but not since the drought. the first time I saw one have little banana flowers like this I was totally amazed to know that each flower makes a banana. glad you posted this, tells me more about where you live. you are right about the buttons on the remotes. they both do the same job, with about 6 less buttons. I prefer the one with all the buttons, I have always hated that big button one, so had the other for me. same tv two remotes. now they will not let us have 2 remotes, the big button died during 2020 and I tried to replace it and they did not have one, so mine became his and the only one. then he broke it too and i could only get the one he likes. I am now learning how to use it

    1. We see quite a few banana palms and loads of flowers but never any bananas. They seem to be all decorative varieties. They get 'burned off' in the heat in summer.
