Nature Rocks

Yep the one on the right has suffered the hand of man.. the other one is nature's work

Apparently the elements of a classical Italian garden design should include stone wood and water....

We do it in miniature.

The Japanese would agree with the design elements - or indeed most gardeners! These are lovely shots of the collection which I presume to be around the pots on your balcony, Tigger and F? Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

    1. Indeed the contents of F's beachpicking pockets emptied into our balcony pots - and one unusually lichened rock at the beach. Most of our rocks are bare bare.

  3. I like this series of rocks and the puzzle over scale. Is that lichen on the ocean rock?

    1. Indeed lichen and an unusual sight on our beach. That rock has its back to the sea at possibly just the right angle to protect the lichen.

  4. I much prefer the nature rocks over the touched my mankind. I like your miniature Italian garden. water for ants and lizards and small bugs, bees and wasps.. a tiny watering hole
