Dr Tigger

Bird Watching together

Dr Tigger has diagnosed F is not well. She is sleeping on the sofa. Sometimes she does that at night if coughing will disturb Mr B but F sleeping in the day time is serious.

I have had to pat her on the face, and jump onto her tummy a few times to make sure she is only sleeping and hasn't forgotten my meal times. There is an alarm on her phone which went off a few times in the night so she would get up and take some medicine, but I am a much better alarm. I don't let her decide to doze off again.

Mr B went cycling on his own so F must be very sick. We didn't even go to the allotment today!  Mr B lit the fire though and F and I are snuggling in the warmth.

F note - not sick so much as tired after 2 and half weeks of some sort of series of minor illnesses.  Everytime I think this is on the way out it seems to come back in some other shape. Conjunctivitis was just the icing on a very distasteful mouldy cake.

  1. I hope your feeling much better soon. Rest is definitely the way to go
We sometimes forget we need to take things easy and go like a bull at a gate. We then pay the piper

    1. You are probably right F has bern carrying tonsilitis around. Most days it seems better then she crashes around 6pm each day. It has been very weird like that. By Friday everything crashed - eyes, tummy, mouth ulcers, pain in the neck. She's just feeling sorry for herself I reckon. Her legs haven't stopped working so she should still be doing stuff. Xxx Mr T

  2. Oh dear. Being unwell is not very pleasant so please be kind to F, Mr T and don't hog all of Mr B's snuggles. F may very well be in need of some.

  3. I hope you're able to get enough rest to shake it completely. Conjunct. tends to strike when your resistance is already low. Insult to injury.

    1. Definitely an insult. F is being the red-eye witch this weekend. We have been doing 'i can kill you with my stare' at each other this evening. Xxx Mr T

  4. Hopefully F will be well enough to climb back onboard one of Brit Rails specials to Waterloo on Monday morning. If not just enjoy her company in the warmth of each other’s arm…..if Mr B relinquishes his hold. Get well soon Ms F!

Aw, heck, that's no fun - for F, or for you, Tigger mate (nor, probably, for Mr B). A furmily pawson being unwell tends to affect the whole furmily. Jus' the way it is. I send lots of POTP (healing vibes) via the etherwebs that F might get all the rest she needs. It does rather sound as if she is in need of a tonic. You keep checking on her, won't you Dr T? Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  7. I'm sorry to hear F is not feeling the best. I hope she soon feels better - though I'm not sure your "help" is very helpful Tigger! Hugz, Mxx

  8. Oh, poor F. Tigger, be a little kinder, please. Snuggle up with her to keep her cosy but don't wake her from her slumbers or she may forget to feed you.

  9. I am so sorry to hear about the aches/pains and illness of the past two weeks, I was unaware of most of it from being laid up in bed with a pulled muscle. Beau was the same at you Dr, Tigger, he could not figure out why his active Mama was dead in the bed for most of each day... Hope F is better today and just so you know, you sitting bird watching on your daddys lap has made my heart feel all mushy

    1. Just tonsilitis that won't go away. She'll come right. Nowhere near as bad as back pain like you had.

  10. oh no poor F, I hope she is ok, I know that honey can help stop coughing or maybe it's the cold air getting into her lungs.

  11. Rest is surely the best cure-all of all . Oscar would do the same here - being both a comfort, a companion and pest all at the same time.

    1. So you have a Dr Oscar - it it purely out of concern for our humans you understand.

  12. R says get well soon to F. For her to be inactive she must be feeling pretty rotten. I personally quite like it when my humans are sick...it means they stay still long enough during the day for me to plonk myself down on top of them for some day time cuddles :)

    1. Mr B sits stll long enough for me to do that plonking. F sends you some chuckles Lord Byron. Her battery just went a bit flat on the weekend but she spent Saturday asleep and seems to have regained forward momentum. Xxx Mr T
