They sent me some postcards.... creepy eyes that look like they are sizing you up no matter which angle you approach it from.
F reports that it is carved out of wood. Of course it is....she loves stuff carved out of wood (except when I carve stuff out of the wooden furniture).
Hari OM Yeah, like Tigger, I focused on the eye! It's an impressive sculpture, no doubt about that. We look forward to more postcards, just so Tigger is reassured you still exist and is not stuck with me for the remainder of days! ...What's that Tigger mate? Oh... he purred something about sharing a room with a hands on cuddler is maybe not sooooo horrendous... we'll sign off to the travellers with hugs and purrs. YAM-aunty and the Tigmeister. xxxxxxoooooxxxxx
Fabulous piece. My late brother worked with Chilcotin in Canada and would have liked this work. Tigger, I'm sure your carving is very precise and neat - and teeth help in the process, too.
We are all sending Phoebe lots of healing energies. We hope she gets better and assure her that nothing is sizing her up (certainly not big birds of any kind.) Xxx Mr T and F
Methinks I am your long lost cousin (June meowing here) ... I so do enjoyed my woodcarving work, it is a true art form, you should see mine Mommy's bed posts!
Is this Inuit? It's powerful!
ReplyDeleteFirst Nations but there is nothing with it to tell us which one specifically.
DeleteThat looks amazing. We need a shot of someone standing next to it. To get an idea of size
ReplyDeleteIt is taller than an adult human.

ReplyDeleteWell that’s different. Love his little tail feathers . Pacific influence there somewhere.
ReplyDeletePhoebe says they are scary too. She is very seriously not well and they do not help.
