ReplyDeleteOh, I shuddered at that vid clip... back to childhood trauma of being in one of those in Eindhoven, NL, and landing on my back, which was already damaged with sunburn. Lost several layers of dermis that day....😬 oh here's Tigger, right on cue... come look at this mate..... 😺... rrrrrrrhhhhrrrrrrrhhhhhrrr rrrrrrhhhhrrrhhhhh hhhrrrrhhrrrrhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrr.... I like the name Friendship Bay and the carvings are pretty comprehensive. Cycling around New Zealand must be challenging but the views would make it worthwhile . . . and penguins:-)

ReplyDeletebetter than a tread mill. the photos of the harbor should be tittled Safe Harbor, that is what I think when i see the boats there. Love the carvings. My son does totem pole wood carving. I had one for many years in the back yard, but rot and ants destroyed it back into the earth.
