Spotted on the motorway

Very spotted.

Hard to capture when both travelling at 60mph, but that really is a car covered in Christmas lights.

Seen on the M27 when returning from the delight of watching the grandchildren interview Santa Claus (I say interview because the lad decided that he would only believe it was Santa if Santa knew the name of his elf that was doing to annual spy job from the shelf at home; a line of questioning he only suggested on his way to the appointment with Santa).

The elf had been named Pants in case anyone is interested.  How Santa knew his name was Pants is possibly down to an intelligence operation that would have done credit to an international spy ring....

How do you think Santa keeps track of the names of all the elves in his employ around the world?  (Especially when young humans rename them....)

  1. That is a lovely story though I do wonder if the police intervened at some point. I seem to remember a few years ago something about lights being distracting . . .
I love the interviewing of Santa!

...oh, that visit sounds like it was fun - for the lad - and an exercise in geopolitics by the adults! What a delight to see the flashy car just to confirm that 'tis the season... YAM xx

  6. Believe it or not, I’ve seen that sort of thing here in New Mexico! I don’t know how the do it, but it is rather festive. I’d certainly never do it though :-)

  7. Wow. That’s one fancy car
    I wonder how they’re powered.
I expect there was som fancy sign language from the parents behind the child’s back to help Santa remember the name

    1. Guessing about the car, the lights were somehow imbedded in a stick on film. As for the name.... Santa's little helper elves make good messengers it turns out. Having a numbered ticket helps too.

  9. I am not sure that car illumination effect can be legal?? Very distracting.
Clever Santa for knowing the name of the elf without any help whatsoever!
