C'est Fini

Some of the cats look a bit surprised. I think I'm surprised too. I struggled somewhat with the quilting bit - in macro it looks OK. It doesn't bear close inspection however.

Baby is apparently due this week.

Update - Theo was born Monday afternoon (and is beautiful).

  13. Thank you everyone for your kind, generous, encouraging, and complimentary comments. I do hope that Theo will grow up with colour and whimsicality as a 'familiar' and a constancy in his world. I hope to visit him and his parents in September sometime.

  17. My apologies for the delay is catching up on the blog and responding to this post. Things have been rather chaotic in our house for the last month since the little human moved in. He has been keeping R and M extremely busy, so R and I are only just now getting a moment to log on to catch up on what has been happening in the world! I love the quilt! I know that, technically speaking, this was a gift for the new human...but i am sure he won't mind sharing with me :) R says that the blanket is going to be perfect for Theo to use as a little play mat whilst he is small. All the colours and shapes will be great for him to explore. And when he is a bit bigger (and it is a bit cooler here), it will have pride of place on his bed! Thank you so much for putting so much time and effort in to making this, it is a very generous gift indeed! looking forward to seeing you in a month or so, Lord Byron, R, M and Theo x
