This is only light scrap - hardly worth the cost of running a truck out to pick it up. Different story when we start scrapping engine blocks or weights off forklifts!
That’s some serious machinery. We keep all scrap metal and when we have a truck load take it to the recycle place. They even pay to take it I’m sure they will reincarnate into many useful bits and bobs
I am impressed with that pile, wow and wow and loved the videos. would have watched the whole thing. and 60 on the veranda that gets 60 wows... good job
What pleases me most is that I've finally memorised how to set up gears so they change smoothly and one gear per click on the lever. Knowledge I will possibly never need to use ever again.
Sad to see all those going like that...but you have restored as many as you could
ReplyDeleteI have 60 on the verandah - and about 20 have left since I started. I told these ones they would be reincarnated.
DeleteI wonder what they will be in their next reincarnation?
DeleteI told them sports cars.
DeleteScrap makes good money at the moment.

DeleteWatching that video reminded me of untangling knitting wool.

Like Dave said there's good money in scrap metal. We get paid for it.

ReplyDeleteHehehe, sports cars - and why not eh?! YAM xx
More likely shopping trollies but I didn't want to add insult to injury.
DeleteThe slow motion video is rather graceful.
