Caravan

...because someone asked

(Dave Northsider asked, you miserable mutt - get to know your audience!  He has a smallholding like ours on the otherside of the planet, with animals, and veg gardens, and does loads of propagation, and has piles of FYM you would love to roll in.)

Two days of rain, during which F spent some time lying in the dirt on the workshop floor painting underneath the pointy bit on the front.

It was a good opportunity to lick her face. Even the Boss shouted at us then (Fergus was the main instigator - he's the licky one.  I just went along to sit on her and hold her down, but the Boss didn't like the idea I might get decorated with grey epoxy paint.)

Yours
Wee Jock

(PS I've been told I won't be getting an exclusive on this spot, but I'll try to sneak in one more about bonfires and rats before I get moved sideways.  Fergus is jealous of my new international celebrity journo status 😎 and wants to have his say.)

Ah yes, fair's fair and all that, Jock wee man. Fergus must have his turn. Bring another perspective and all that... particularly from under the caravan. Now if you could only operate the camera as well..... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  2. That will be a brilliant little van once it’s all fixed up. Definitely don’t need leaks
As for licking. Well. It’s I love you in doggie speak.

  4. Good to hear from you, Wee Jock, but it would only be fair to allow Fergus to share the limelight.

  5. Looks great for you. You've taken the curtains to shorten them obviously.

    1. A couple have been returned at that stage. SiL is fascinated by the amount of glass in a kiwi caravan so I leave the curtains open for her entertainment (she is an Aussie).

  6. the caravan is perfect, and glad you posted this. I thought you had purchased something like what
Yam's Gray is... we call this a camper or a trailer. all three names are correct. you are so talented

    1. Language is a funny thing - here a camper is a motor van fitted out for living (like the Grey), and a trailer is for cargo (we don't live in trailers). And a towable living space is a caravan (or possibly a trailer tent, which is a kind of hybrid; neither fish nor fowl).
