We just love the mushrooms! I know the red is poisonous but the color is so pretty and we see the puffer mushroom too. It's fun to step on and see smoke rise!
I like that red toad stool, in fact I like all the shrooms and toad stools and fungi, each and every one of them. in past post I have shown photos like these, but now found it difficult to bend, stoop or crouch to get close to them without falling on my head or butt... I will be content looking at yours
How beautiful!! I really enjoy fungi, and saw so many varieties while living in Northern California....here in the high desert of New Mexico...not so much lol.
As they say, "all mushrooms are edible.....some only once...." Some are fascinating shapes and colours! You have been having more autumn rains than further north...where I was staying near Hamilton in the Waikatō my hostess tried to find some fungi that she can usually find at this time of year...but not in drought conditions
Funky fungi. Have you had much rain?
