Oh no. Fords and Holden were savage enemies. We have a race called Bathurst that originated from a race between the two cars. It was a very sad day when Holden stopped making them.
supporters of Fords and Holdens can be savage enemies𤣠Bro has a tuned up Ford Falcon down in the back shed which he hoped would satisfy his yearnings for Aussie cars after his sold his Monaros but he reckons it doesn't spin his wheels like a GM Holden.
Deeply revered by my Bro who has owned, restored and sold many - and bought this one to restore. (Gearbox is in need of tlc or replacement.) There is an HZ ute body in the shed already (awaiting hotrod treatment) so the projects are queuing up but this was apparently too good a deal to pass over.
A Ford in disguise! At least they weren't as wide and ridiculous as some USA cars.

ReplyDeleteHoldens. Gone but not forgotten. They’re revered here by some.
