Turns up without notice. Will probably leave without notice too.
You just get a human trained into an acceptable routine and they go and disappear on you.
Fortunately when this one reappeared she remembered the routine - and commented that I was looking somewhat more svelt than earlier in the year (despite the woolly mammoth coat).
Not forgiven but the flattery has been filed.
I endured a face trim, having been told I looked like an "old codger". It does make seeing-out a bit clearer.
Walks (or runs as I now deem them) have been resumed and I've made new k9 social connections; all very politely. There's a bit of bouncing and posturing but no aggressive noises or nastiness. My best meet was Diesel the Rotty. Big softie just wanted to lean on my human.
F says I have to mention that daffodils have appeared in Argyl Park. Daffs smaffs - what do I care? They don't run. They don't have fur or feathers. You can't eat them. I refused to be photographed with them.
I just want to sniff the graffiti and RUN.YoursFergus
Hiya Fergus. Long time no see. Looking good there old chap x

ReplyDeleteDog's prerogative, Fergus mate, to run. And sniff. Well done on the polite meetings and greetings. Always a winner that. Oh a Rottweiler... I've known two very well over the years - both total sops! Very heavy when they decide to 'lapdog'... Glad you are making the most of the visiting F. Keep at it she'll be off again soon I suspect. Good to see ya mate. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Nice to see you again, Fergus . I'm sure you feel better for your facial trim - makes it easier to get closer to the poo and pee-mails.
ReplyDeleteDaffodils in July🤔? That's different.
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable after your face trim
ReplyDeleteI always think fantastic spring is on its way, when I see the daffodils
Good to see you again Fergus..yes, humans can be fickle!! Looks like a good run was had too.
ReplyDeleteMy daffodils are just starting to come up here but the Camellias are flowering.
