You would be surprised how many olive trees grow in Marlborough generally, but yes it did seem kind of fitting for those who fought ans temained on both sides of the Med.
There appears to be 3 or 4 parts to the grove (it's huge). There is a name by every tree in the first part. (or perhaps a tree for every name - local names I guess)

Then there are the people who fling their bags of dog poo into the bushes. The plastic is worse than the poo.
