After a hiatus - waiting 6 weeks for electricians and electrical inspectors to coordinate a date to do the wiring and convert the temporary supply meter to a permanent one - I have been able to get on with lining the cabin.
Those doors are way too heavy for me to lift (neighbours carried them in for me) so I have arranged a couple of builder lads to hang the doors once I have the doorjambs finished inside and out.

Yes that is a small freezer. I always seem to cook way too much (the curse of the crock pot) and eat the same dish 6 days in a row. This will enable me to package extra servings and mix things up a bit.
At the moment it is 3/4 full of beef bones for Scully (and to boil up for stock) - again sourced from the Renwick butcher. Scully, who was in the van when I bought them, has already worked out that the humming white box is where the bones disappeared too.
Hopefully chewing on beef ribs it will be better for her than chewing on bits of bracken stalk which she is in the habit of doing. Bracken can apparently be toxic so I really would rather she didn't.
