Y'all gonna start thinkin I have a toadstool fixation.
I'm beginning to suspect I do too.
I don't often see red fungus - this on dead manuka.
Cute VERY small ones
Could be tiny hailstones but it really is fluffy mold or something. See the grains of sand in the soil?
That hole is about 2mm across (6mm = 1/4 inch). (So it's much smaller that Tiger Beetle burrow.)
The Yorkshire Pudding of Fungi (holds water; would probably hold gravy)…
My all time favorite. What a colour! About 1cm (<1/2 inch) across. How cute is that?
Again these are really small. They are almost an alien life form - or spilled brains in miniature. The green is probably also a mold or slime.
Bottle cap shaped and sized. I love the way the light glows through these ones.
You will have to expand this one to enjoy all the alien life forms collected into the scene.

ReplyDeleteThose are some gorgeous 'gis you've been hangning out with...🤗 YAM xx
ALIENS!!! They are asking to be taken to your leader...That would be Scully, I reckon.
ReplyDeleteThat red fungus looks horribly like some sort of surgical procedure gone wrong 😳
ReplyDeleteInteresting selection of fungi, some more attractive than others. I agree with JayCee about the red fungus - it's quite repulsive. 😁
ReplyDeletethe glowy bottle caps are my favorite. Until I got the gulping Beau, I enjoyed all our different mushrooms, now its just one more thing on my to-do list, I have to remove anything from the yard that he might eat.
ReplyDeletethe vet suggested a muzzle but I just can't... we have in the neighbors yard something very close to your orange soup bowls... but its more flat
They are fascinating..ever seen the blue ones?
ReplyDeleteThey are here on the West coast
DeleteI love all the different shapes and sizes of fungi.
ReplyDeleteAs you have probably heard, we have a woman, who lived not that far from me.
Cooked mushrooms and killed her family.
After that. I think keeping away from mushrooms is a good idea
it's not just you, I enjoy taking photos of new fungi
ReplyDeleteI'm also a big fan of fungi! Unfortunately, we don't see it much here in the high desert of New Mexico LOL.
ReplyDeleteLove all of these!
