Scully here…This is my "they've all gone and left me" look.
The F human went away for 4 days last week. I counted them. FOUR DAYS without walks or doinkball or extra treats or tummy rubs. FOUR DAYS when my own humans were at work and school.
BORING.
When F came back I bounced at her and we had lots of cuddles and I always try to lick her face (but she rejects that).
On her first day back I had to supervise the building of a little plastic tunnel thing. (She tells me you've seen that; ok so I kept the recently planted potatoes warm by lying on them while she flapped about with plastic. I tried sitting on that too but got short shrift.)
Friday was better because we went to Big Smoke and that means pie. Okay it also means wandering about a big shop or two and smooching people who stop to comment on me.
F calls me a tart for rolling over for tummy rubs from people I've known for 3 milliseconds. They smelled like good people - OKAY? (And my tummy made them happy!)
We loaded a big green tank onto the trailer, and stopped in Renwick for PIE on the way home. I like steak and cheese pie with not too much gravy.
That was the Saturday supervision: making sure it was all connected up properly - it's in a good place for doinkball so I insisted on getting in some catching practice while she was walking back and forth with tapes and tools and stuff.

no - it's not on a lean |
Strangely it was raining while she was working out lengths for the water-in pipe and the rain stopped once she got it all pushed together🙄
F said thats Sod's Law.
It was while we were doing that my family drove past (all of them together - that never happens) and my Dad yelled out the window "Bye Scully" and I went into what F called a Deep Blue Funk (see photo at the top). It worked though because she took me for a long walk with lots of rabbit chasing.
(She said they had gone to rugby in Wellington and would be home tomorrow. I don't know where Wellington is but I stayed overnight with F and we both slept on her sofa thing with rugs over us and I got chicken. Not a bad substitute I reckon.)
Yours
Scully
