Curtains

Browsing the Blenheim ReUse shop (as I do every time I go to town in the hope I will score a suitable shower tray/base for our cabin ensuite) I did score this curtain.
$10. It jumped out at me - rich colour that would add depth and contrast to all that light wood.  I still love it now that it's hanging up. (phew)

It must have come from a remarkable house; it's length was twice the height of our doors. I cut it to length, hemmed by hand, and will use the off-cut to make folding blinds for the windows.

Today it's raining outside. Scully is asleep on the bed beside Mr B (her towel lying discarded in the doorway), and I'm knitting a lined beanie hat - red inside, camo-green outside.

The water tank is refilling nicely.
