Everyone knows they should be brown and furry on the outside and bright green inside.... right?
... and tomatoes should be red.
Respectively, gold and red kiwifruit (purchased) with next to no fur on the outside; and a yellow plum tomato from the plants we were given at Xmas time.
I've seen the golden kiwis but not the yellow plum tomatoes. The tomatoes look exotic. None of those newfangled twists of nature around here. Well, not in our part of the woods.
bald Kiwi fruit? I don'[t think I would trust it! It is pretty though and would make an interesting still life painting. Viewers would comment "artistic license ".
The tastes are subtley different aren't they. Nice...but I prefer the green Kiwifruit

I've seen supermarkets selling these here but I've never tried them. have a nice weekend.
