Scully and I noticed pollen being swept into lines where incoming and outgoing flows met and interacted.
By the time we were on the return leg of our walk the lines had spiralled.
We were in the first week of August - the pollen lines have been appearing on the suface of puddles and rainwater trapped in the wheelbarrow for a couple of weeks.
Spring is on its way...

That's an early start.
ReplyDeleteMy hay fever muscle is twitching!
Pollen from which plants I wonder? Interesting seeing the water flow because of the pollen

ReplyDeleteOOOhhhhh , Nature playing artist! All the better for having been 'bought' by your lens... YAM xx
That's a lot of pollen! Hope no-one is allergic.
ReplyDeleteHow interesting! Can you swim in that water? Is the swirl like a dangerous whirlpool or just a gentle pretty wave kind of thing. Your spring is coming, my fall is thinking of coming.
