Joining up with Yam Aunty's Saturday Stitches..

Seen in Nelson this week (and not commanding nearly enough attention) this collaborative embroidery piece.

The longer information reported those blooms came from stitchers around the world (the origins of many were recorded in this spiel too) and were collated and co-ordinated into this design here in NZ.

For scale, it is about an armspan wide.

Encountering it came in the same week that a friend in Queensland shared that she had been to see The Red Dress which is currently on display there.
