It is in fact a bit of a rust bucket, an old clunker, and although it looks like an off-roader, the suspension is rubbish and it performs best on paved surfaces (or at a pinch the lawn). It corners well though, and manages the occasional turn of speed. Somebody left the roof down on Monday and the seats got wet so I opted for a ramble on the way home.
Sports car with mobile home conversion |
The ignominy is the mobile home conversion, or worse, having to share it with loose garden tools.
There is a smarter sports car hanging on the wall of my garage. It travels at great speed behind one of those bicycle things, and although it has a soft top convertible to keep the seats dry, the suspension on that is rubbish too. I don’t drive that one much. My everyday one has the advantage of being quite a good place to retreat to when it is parked upside down - rain or sun, it keeps both off.
That's hilarious, I wish our cat was as much of a character.
