Kourema
I think it means a
haircut. F backpacked me off to
the V-E-T again this morning and this time there was a queue of dogs and their
humans waiting outside. They were all
dogs about my size but I’ll not have anything to do with dogs of any size, so I
just looked at them through the mesh.
A lady with a white Westie told F her dog was here for a
kourema and waved us ahead. There was
another dog same size same colour, different haircut, just coming out, so I was
just starting to wonder if I was mistaken and this was really a grooming
parlour (my fur needs some attention where those dreadful ear drops made it a
bit greasy) when the VET stuck her viewing thing in my ears.
More ear drops, come back in 7 days.
Probably just as well, that dog’s haircut didn’t inspire
confidence in the stylist. Dogs let
humans do really embarrassing things to their coats and hairstyles. Tell me you’d never see that on a cat.
I asked F to find a pic of a dog with ‘that’ kind of
haircut. We put ‘doggy haircut’ into a
google image search…. If you ever want a good
laugh…
In the interests of balanced reporting ‘cat haircuts’ don’t
look a whole lot better (and the cats look truly miserable).

ReplyDeleteTigger, I'm all for letting the locks grow as they will... whatever the critter! Sorry to hear you have to endure more of those drops - but if it makes the ears better long-term it will be worth the short-term agro, right? Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
