It rained on Wednesday of last week. By Monday of this week we had this
(note the patches of unusual colour... ...and the view blocking new bus-stop: delightful)and on Tuesday F noticed some flowers among the rocks beside the beach.
They are big trumpets, with slightly purple-ish edges.
And Mr B and I found a beetle and a small dragonfly thing on our balcony:
Just add water and the place sort of springs back to life.
Water, the stuff of life. We have loads of it over here!

ReplyDeleteWe have rather too much of it over here - but I totally understand what you mean Mr T... and those convolvulus-like flowers are just gorgeous! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
That little bit of rain did miracles. I love it when the green appears .
ReplyDeleteClover has started covering our garden
Oh to roll about in some clover. Ahhhhhhh...mmmmmm. The bees like it too. xxx Mr T
DeleteI've watched how arid areas come to life when rain falls on them. It is quite spectacular and makes one marvel at the power of nature.
ReplyDeleteThe roots and seeds must be lying in wait. Our wee garden has come up all over oxalis, with calendula and nasturtiums seeded from last spring.
DeleteLooks like you need more, we've got another 3-4 days of it due here, I'll try to send it there.
