Spotted in a tree on our walk
F thought 'possibly bird nest'. I instantly knew better. We cat's know about bird nests and these definitely were not. I made her climb up onto a wall for a closer look and take photos.
They ARE spiders nests aren't they?
The tree was covered in them.
And for a colour splash we captured this bit of orange.
And some spring blossom for 'hope'.

ReplyDeleteWell, I'd've said "weaver birds"... 'cept there aren't any in Greece. Are there??? So spiders it is, Mr T. Though keep watch. Maybe the weavers moved out of Africa... Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
It takes us cats to know what a bird nest is like! Purrs, Mittens 😻
ReplyDeleteAnd only really big spiders are even vaguely interesting aye? And then only because they make humans move faster. Unfortunately F isn't scared of them so herding a wolf spider indoors doesn't really achieve much. Furrings and Purrings Mr T
DeleteI do not want to see th spider that made that.
ReplyDeleteDon’t like spiders at all
We are fairly certain they are really small - some sort of nursery spider
DeleteI've noticed those nests in the trees here and almost took a pick the other day. I'm sure they're spiders.
ReplyDeleteNoooo.... step away from the scary spiders!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have a similar looking thing over here and they are full of caterpillars/
