I'm Not Ignoring You

It hurt.

It hurts to have your bladder full and nothing comes out.

I'm not over keen on vets either and F was helping this one.  Does that make her a traitor or should I be grateful it was her shirt front I was yelling into?

She did wear a particularly fetching strange big heavy blue dress when she stretched me out on that machine.  She had to do it twice because stretching my back legs made it hurt more and I kicked.

Something bit me on the bum.

The next thing I know I am lifting a head, that feels like it is made out of that big blue dress, in front of the fan at home.

Did I miss something?

I feel sick.  My legs don't work.  My head won't stay in the right place to walk towards my food mat.  And then there was that crash - what the hell happened there?  Legs went like they were on roller skates, body went left...

I squinted my eyes into focus.  F and I were lying on the floor face to face and her eyes were leaking.  Humans are strange like that.  Do any other animals make their eyes leak the way that humans do?

There will be pills.  I bet there are pills.  There always seems to be pills after that kind of vet visit.

F is going to read me your blogs, and the comments, and I will try to dictate some replies.  We aren't ignoring you, we just seem to have used up all our energy reserves for now.

We were meant to be on holiday this week....

Deary me Tigger ol' boy - bit of an adventure unasked for eh? You could think about licking F's face and gathering all that moisture to yourself - it might please her for reasons only she knows... I wonder if you had a bit of cystitis - can happen if you don't have enough wet stuff in those kiddlies y'know... jus' sayin'... so don't fret if F comes at you with lots of other moist stuff, 'k? 1. I had complained she'd been watering my food - but I WAS eating it. Stuff still managed to go wrong. She sprays water on me in hot days and I have to lick it off. I can't have my fur going green and sloth-like. Furrings and purrings YAM-aunty, Mr T

    1. She's best cuddled when sound asleep; but we are pretty good mates when vets are off the agenda.

    1. Thank you. I like to think I'm a fluid sort of strength - strong like water (can't compress it, it finds its own way, flows around the obstacles).

  6. Yes we take her I know about humans leaking ass because mine are leaking right now thinking about all this that you had to go through and I do hope that the pills help you and help you soon. Cats and dogs make humans eyes leak when things go awry

    1. F's just soppy. I'll be OK. Although I've proven to be susceptible to a couple of cat problems (teeth and ear issues), I'm a resilient speciman and have generally enjoyed 'rude good health'. I've also managed to avoid serious injury - like getting run over, so all my bits work well. Age will eventually mean deterioration, but like zoo animsls who live much longer in captivity than in the wild, my soft life will probably provide me with a couple more good years yet. That'll see us back to UK and I can retire and grow old in my favorite garden.
