Last one - just to fill out a week of 'bounty' .......
I told you we go through another laiki on the way to work on Tuesdays - we found an olive seller
and took a picture of the coffee delivery tray...
captured an array of sweets (you can't get near this stall as Christmas approaches, and they have swags and swags of chocolates at that time of year)
F also found these things that look like the biggest garlic you ever saw, or the weirdest onions (made up of 'cloves' like garlic).
Nuts anyone?
And grape sellers hanging up their most impressive bunches..
And all the rest.....
Sorry about what look like out of focus photos - they look great on the phone (that big bunch of grapes in particular) but we attached them to the post in the phone and something in the system has 'slipped'.... although subsequent investigation suggests it might be the graphics quality in the desktop computer we are editing on)
on my big monitor they all look sharp and beautiful and I am lingering at the nut table. looks like all the ones I LOVE are there. i can't believe the olives. I have never seen or had an olive like those, only the kind in jars and a few at one store but they are not straight off the trees. I would love to tase them. I took the time to visit Napier before coming to visit today. Wow and Wow, what beautiful homes, both the art deco that are like mine today and all those brightly colored ones and streets to roam and the beaches are stunning.
