Saturday Laiki - Fire

A lot of time must be spent neatly stacking the edge ones....

Stacks of various sized empty crates grow over the course of the day. We saw a lad of about 7-8 years sitting folded into a crate on a stack of empties, eating a pie from a paper bag and looking very bored with the prospect of being tied to his mother's veg stall all day.

All these plants €3 each. That's basil behind the flowers.

Pistachios (fresh ones)

  1. my favorite display looks wise, is the one with all the bell peppers in all the colors. I love all bell peppers but not ones that are hot, they cook my mouth for a long time after tasting. theses stalls are art work and i might want a tomato from the bottom row ha ha...

    1. That big pile of red pointy ones are also sweet peppers - the sweetest in fact and the only kind that F buys.
