Another day - another apartment

F promises me that we are staying in this one for a week. It's much nicer than last night's one; it has white bed linen......I like white. I do object that the doors to all the other bedrooms have been closed on me, but we have got a ginormous balcony (overlooking a kids' playground and the sea).

I would move the playground INTO the sea. F says the small cat torturers can't get me here.

Last night we took some pictures of the sea here (just before the air was filled with stealth biting insects and my humans were doing some sort of slap dance all the way home).

Small fishing harbour

And we found a huge piece of drftwood that F said landscape gardeners in the city would pay a fortune for. (It looked much better than the photos and was about 4' across.)

Goodnight. There's a bright planet hanging over the sea after dark.

  1. Looks like a gorgeous place for a holiday as long as you can keep away those small torturers .
That's a lovely piece of driftwood. Did you take it for your balcony?

    1. Too big for two humans and one cat to lift. We'd need a crane, a low loader, and a specially reinforced balcony....unfortunately.

    1. No ants ...so far. Some vespas (both the 2 wheeled and striped kinds -1 one noisy the other anoiiiing), and binging from the mini fun fair across the street. The views are pretty darned good though and we can leave the buzzing and binging behind in minutes. Xxx Mr T

    1. Strangely noisy, but no travelling night clubs so far, and we are only minutes from countryside and wildlife reserves.

  4. It looks lovely. We are enjoying gale force winds and rain here so I am extremely envious.
