Flamingoes (and other birds too big to eat)

Weird reflections

All seen on the way to that lighthouse
View across the water from the lighthouse to the town where we are staying this week.
It looks 'urban' but has no butcher, no pharmacy, nowhere for a human to get a haircut, .... just places to sleep, tavernas, a couple of corner shops, and a beach - its ends marked by a barge wharf and a fishing boat harbour.

  1. Is it full of Long haired Healthy people eating Loaves and Fishes (I take it there is a bakery??)

    1. Definitely a bakery. The first place we stayed (1 night because our chosen apartment was booked up) even gave us half an enormous loaf 'for the road'. Great bread it was too.

  3. Flamingoes are such graceful birds. They always make me think of ballerinas.
You look very handsome in that last photo Mr T.

    1. Thank you JC. I am however more Cossack than ballerina (leave grace to the flamingoes)

    1. We sold the short, found said essentials and set the record straight in the next post. It is a town in two parts (tourist part, and locals' part) xxx Mr T
