Launched

Mr B saw me do it.

I scrambled onto the bed, studied F for a short while before launching myself - four feet in the air and landing on her as hard as I could.

He told tales on me.  F was still half asleep and hadn't really worked out where the attack came from.

Now she knows and there's talk of retaliatory action.....

If it's disturbed sleep we are talking about, I am always going to win that one.  I can sleep while she's working.

  3. Oh my goodness, I can see you doing that and it made me laugh out loud, so much in fact I was worried the wardrode fitter would think I had gone mad. Thank you for the telling the story.

    1. Keep a good eye on those wardrobe fitters - I had to when they did ours in UK. Cats are excellent supervisors. xxx mr T

  8. Hi Tigger! Just saw you via MadSnapper. Sorry to say Hubby doesn't like cats, although cats seem to really like him, snuggling when we are at our son's house overnight and prowling around our yard and on our porch when we are home. The gift of a kitten I named Snowflake joined my life when I was 10-years-old. For almost 10 years she supplied me, family and friends with entertainment, laughter, cuddles, and occasional motherly discipline when she decided to give an available bare arm a bath. As long as the arm stayed obediently still for the bath, she didn't pierce the skin. I am catless right now and happy I can enjoy your wise and wonderful feline observations.

    1. Hello LC - Snowflake sounds like she was your best friend. I don't lick humans - I wouldn't want them licking me, but I do purr into them occasionally.
Some humans are so stand-offish (and they say that about we cats!) xxx Mr T
