Office Cat

I have an official title now.  The head underwriter (visiting from London) made the title even longer and it included the words 'emotional support animal'.

I'm not emotionally supporting anyone.  I supervise.

My tasks include checking the standard of the cleaning, making sure all the balcony doors can be opened if required, testing F's keyboard, and sampling items of food.  I have a desk of my own, and now I want business cards .... and a lackey to carry them for me.

Fur overalls were not designed with pockets for business cards.

  1. Oh yes, Tigger, you are most definitely in your element as Supervisor! How would your humans survive without you watching over them all the time?
I'm not sure you really need those business cards though :)

    1. Humans get lots of things they don't really need (and then they fight over them), but who's keeping the score. I'll be happy just to enjoy a moderate temperature in the summertime and get my meals every day (and have both my prefered humans at home). Say hi to Mittens. xxx Mr T.

  2. Tigger, those seem to be an entirely reasonable set of demands for a feline of your status.
I am just at the stage of learning how to test and clean keyboards, although so far my work is not gaining the appreciation it surely deserves.
    Toodle-oo!

    1. They have opussums in New Zealand (introduced from somewhere else) - Australia I think, but that doesn't explain why they have an Irish name.

  4. Tigger - the head honcho!
If you are now on the payroll you will qualify for benefits……snacks and treats and cuddles in lieu of actual cash payments. Oh and as a result of the occasional pay rise….steak instead of that tinned stuff you say you’re fed

    1. I, the Tigger, am entitled. I have been 'entitled' all my adult life. It has provided me with everything I need and now I'm being told I have to work for it - in my senior years!

    1. F is my PA so she should carry the business cards, but she is forgetful. She never remembers her own cards; she'd surely forget mine. Fz and Pz Mr T
