My wrist watch is accurate and reliable but I struggle a bit with calendars. It got even worse with F working at home, but at least I know if she sits at the table with the computer open it is a work day.
Regardless of the day I wake her with a pat on the face at around 0700. And I stretch and come indoors at 0900 for our commute to the office.
Today is the first of two days when F does garden, laundry, cleaning, laiki, takes me to the beach, pokes about in the kitchen, does some sewing, goes cycling, or entertains visitors. I believe it is called weekend. Sometimes we go travelling in weekends.
This weekend started with F going to the basement with a bottle of bleach and a bucket and mop and making it smell different. Waste of time if you ask me, it doesn't fix the underlying problem which appears to be a hole in the bottom of the building.... and a sinking feeling.
Oh yes, I see that spring is well and truly coiled.
ReplyDeleteI could unleash myself at a jugular in the flick of an eyelash...
ReplyDeleteThat is the feline version of high alert.
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteWell, at least you have the consolation of knowing that you can desert that sinking ship in a few months time, Tigger dear coil... errr cat... hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
you always make me smile and feel good, Tigger the Coiled Spring... ha ha on Boud High Alert! Right! weekends sound fun, but at least you get to go with F to work when she leaves. Most pets have to stay home..
ReplyDeleteIt’s a hard job that of supervisor
ReplyDeleteI know when I go out to garden I get three or sometimes four supervisors
It’s such a tough job that my fur babies all have to be in on it.
I must be real troublesome to have to have that many baby sitters
I'm sure F wouldn't mind if you waited until 0800 to pat her face during the weekend!
ReplyDeleteShe agreed with you but I'd have to rest my watch. Twice a yesr resets play havoc with the mechanism, so I'm not going gor weekly ones. xxx Mr T
DeleteLet's try that again with glasses on... reset my watch. Twice a year.....not going for...
DeleteI’ll let you get right on with it Tigger me dear…..s ally water and I do not get on. As well as that there’d be some bodily fluids to clean up if I went anywhere near it☹️
ReplyDelete24 hours later there is no basement smell in the foyer so she must have got something right.
DeleteYou are a domesticated Tiger or is it a Lion Tigger?
ReplyDeleteI'm a Tigger. More Scottish wild cat than safari animal.
DeleteIt seems that Mr Tigger is similar to Mr Bruno, they both like sleeping and dozing the days away.
