Colours of Kaiuma Bay.

One of my lovely Pilates students is a potter.  I used the term ceramicist. She calls herself a potter.

Today she gifted me three beautiful bowls with glaze of her own potion chemistry. (Potters know glazes are 5% chemistry and 95% magic spells. Both components are well guarded secrets.)

The colours were designed to compliment our house colour - scoria. The glaze hand painted on the base displays the reds she intended. The dipped surfaces are purple and wine.  Both are stunning.

Rocks in my (temporary) crazy paved path twixt caravan and cabin whispered up to me...."look here, colour us, earth and minerals, ..."

Thyme on the corner of the cabin garden took up the descant "look here, pinks and plants..."

Californian poppies screamed in the sunlight..."look here, contrast, dance, glow and shine...."
