Hari OM Ugh, the bities are about, eh? I suspect ear drops would be of little help for F, Tigger... calamine lotion, on the other paw... hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
I take it you can't buy Aerogard over there.....it's the only way to 'have a good weekend' :) Bushmans (with Deet) is good as well. Melbourne has the largest Greek community outside of Greece - it's a wonder none of them have started exporting those two products.
PS .....tell F .my mum used to say, spit on it. Seemingly there's something in saliva that stops the itch. Never works for me but she can try it if she's game:)
F has every protection known to woman and yet still the mozzies attack. She's just unlucky they prefer her blood. Those bites look nasty. Give her a cuff around the ear when she tries to scratch
The Repel works - she forgets to use it (and it makes us all cough when she does squirt it). She says mostly they don't itch - in fact they look bad but she didn't even know she had those ones until I pointed them out. The very few that do itch at 'the beggar' she says. Maybe there is more than one kind of biting insect, and the ones that get her are the ones that hang around gardens.
Fenistril apparently. I found it in the bathroom. F says her Mum used to dab them with meths and say 'blow on it'. (Good thing she isn't a dragon breath!)

F tells me Scotland has midgies - which (she says) are even worse because they are silent.

Deleteouch not good. I can sympathise, my skin reacts with just about anything. I wouldn't use calamine for my condition but it could be good for her.
